Complete the donation card and mail
it with your check, or donate online. To receive credit
for the current tax year, the donation must be received
or postmarked by December 31. |

for my donation? |

|
Yes, all receipts are mailed by
January 31. |

Do I get the entire
$1000 as a state income tax credit? |
| |
|
Yes, if you are filing jointly and
your state income tax liability is at least $1000, you
can use it for that year's taxes. Any excess can be
carried forward and used to offset state tax for up to
five years. |

May I donate less than $1000? |
| |
|
Yes. $1000 is the maximum credit
allowed in one year for joint tax returns. $500 is the
maximum credit allowed in one year for individual tax
returns. |

May I also make the $250 public
school donation and receive the credit, a total of
$1250? |
| |
|
Yes. You may also give up to $250 to
the public school of your choice. |

May I designate a particular
student or school? |
| |

Yes. We make every effort to
distribute funds to designated students. Funds
designated to a particular Lutheran school are
distributed to that school. However, parents are not
allowed to designate their own children. |

grant for my child, what is the process? |
